Yuno app is inspired by the struggle of our daily dilemma of ‘what and where to eat.’ Yuno aims to provide a solution by offering a platform for users to explore and save food inspirations, as well as share experiences and connect with other users.
Yuno places an emphasis on gathering user feedback to improve the restaurant experience. Food enthusiasts can share reviews, connect with other users and restaurant owners, and ultimately help improve restaurant services to meet customer expectations.
Yuno aims to provide a user-friendly and intuitive experience that allows users to easily navigate and explore food inspiration, restaurants, and recommendations. The ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between enhancing user satisfaction and monitoring restaurant performance.
As the UI/UX designer for this team, my role is to provide:
The discovery session was initiated to answer a few initial questions. Who is our primary user? What are their goals? Why would someone want to use this application? And, what is the scope of this project? After brainstorming with a few stakeholders, it became evident that the goals were similar and fell into two categories: to solve the common problem of “What to eat?” and to discover new and exciting restaurants and foods to try.

Naddy is a food enthusiast who loves trying new restaurants and sharing her experiences with close friends on social media once a week. She is always searching for unique dining experiences, especially when going on dates.
After brainstorming with the team, sketching the functional flow, and generating ideas, the next step was for me to create wireframes. The wireframes illustrate the user journey and help visualize the steps a user would take when interacting with Yuno.
Injecting the UI element into the app process involves creating a color palette, selecting appropriate typography, and adding graphics and images that enhance the overall look and feel of the app. The goal is to create a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing design that enhances the user experience.

Beside online ordering system, Yuno focuses on user input on dining experiences, allowing foodies to share reviews, connect with other users and restaurant owners.
The main feature of the Yuno app is the review feed, which allows users to see their following and recommended postings, engage with other foodies, and like and comment on reviews.
Users also can bookmark the posted review or restaurants for future reference or checkout followers profile or the restaurant.

I joined Yuno as a product designer where I led the product, UX and UI strategy for the team. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have part of this journey and have grown tremendously during my time. some key achievements of which I have listed below:
Moreover, I have come to appreciate the ongoing process of iteration and testing to ensure the design is user-friendly and meets the expectations of the target audience. A well-designed interface must not only be aesthetically pleasing but also intuitive and simple to use, leading to a delightful and fulfilling user experience.
